Plantation Chiropractor : Dr. Mark Herman
"I had no idea what I was going to with my life until I stumbled upon the field of chiropractic. Once I learned what it was all about, it just made perfect sense."
"I always knew that I wanted a career where I could use my expertise to help other people. For some unknown reason, when I was a child I never liked taking medicine. My first visit to a chiropractor was a life-changing experience. The doctor took the time to explain everything to me and it all made perfect sense. I can still remember that euphoric feeling after my first adjustment. It all just seemed naturally right!"
Dr. Herman graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 1989. At the time, NYCC was located in Old Brookville, which was located on the North Shore of Long Island. Dr. Herman chose NYCC because of its exceptional educational program and also because of the proximity to Dr. Herman's hometown of Island Park, NY. During his four years at NYCC, courses included biochemistry, a major emphasis on anatomy and human physiology, X-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care in the NYCC Levittown Clinic. After graduating in 1989, Dr. Herman moved to South Florida to establish his practice.
Dr. Herman's goal is to educate his patients regarding natural health care and how chiropractic can help them. It is then up to the patient to decide on how they would like proceed with the course of treatment that Dr. Herman has recommended for them. "I will never compromise what is in the patient's best interest, but they are ultimately responsible for making decisions regarding their health." Dr. Herman offers high quality care at affordable fees. "There is nothing more gratifying than when a patient says "I am feeling much better."
Dr. Herman and his wife Sharon have one daughter, Dara. They have resided in Weston since 1993. When Dr. Herman is not in the office, he enjoys playing his guitar, enjoying a round of golf, and playing tennis.
Dr. Herman has been getting adjusted on a least a monthly basis for the past 30 years. "This has helped me to stay healthy and keep in shape. I actually feel much younger than my age. I do not take any form of medication and try to eat lots of fruits and veggies. Most importantly I try to keep a positive attitude in life and look at any setback as an opportunity to learn and grow as a person."
“Enough about me! I want to thank you for visiting my site. I look forward to meeting you in person so we can discuss your particular health challenge and how I can be of service to you. If you have any questions, please call me or e-mail me with any of your questions or concerns.”
